The deep color of bourdeaux need not be a challenge to design with. It is a great contrasting color that goes with other bright colors, as well as muted tones of white, gray or beige. Sometimes I get this color confused with burgundy, which seems to take on a deeper purple shade upon research, but not always. Then there’s maroon…a whole other color story!
